A One Day Event - March 18, 2010
On march 18, 2010 all StockCross Global will donate trading proceeds to Florida Hospital Cancer INstitute's Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
Trading For a Cure was created by two time cancer survivor Gerry Mastrianni, who in 1999 was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease. Shortly thereafter, Gerry received a Bone Marrow Transplant at Florida Hospital Cancer Institute, which enabled him to continue his efforts in supporting the search for a cure.
Trading for a Cure to date has raised more than $500,000.
Through the inspiration of it's founder, The late Gerry Mastrianni, Trading for a Cure is a one-day event that raises money for Florida Hospital. During this one-day event, a portion of the trading proceeds collected during the trading day are donated to the charity. This program has allowed the the hospital to purchase up-to-date equipment in their battle with this terrible disease.
Through the funds raised by Trading for a Cure, Florida Hospital has been able to expand their Hospital's Cancer Research Institute to purchase valuable blood evaluation machines.
These enhancements have helped the lives of countless patients.
